A fabulous two owner European 280SL 5 speed manual transmission.
Acquired in Germany and correctly imported in period by its first owner. Under the same ownership until 2019 when purchased by current owner.
Car has always been garage kept.
This car has been through a very expensive refurbishment which included a complete paint job in original Signal Red.
New Timevalve stainless exhaust system, and complete reconditioning of both the alloy wheels and the European headlamps.
Car includes the rare factory AC system and a brand-new transmission.
The car has a perfectly straight body and never had any corrosion.
The car just had an engine out service which included a new head and both engine bay and engine itself have been nicely detailed. This car runs superbly and comes with a full-service history.
The current owner spent a lot money on a very expensive PPG paint job in its original color and a beautiful reconditioning of the original interior.
